Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure municipal facilities during weekend shifts (6am-10pm Sat/Sun)
- Conduct regular patrols and access control at government buildings
- Respond to security incidents and emergency situations per protocol
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during critical incidents
- Enforce facility access policies and visitor screening procedures
- Operate security systems including CCTV and alarm monitoring
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Security Guard License (DORA certification)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to work independently in high-stress situations
- Clear criminal background check and drug screen
- Proficient with CCTV systems and access control software
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
