Responsibilities
- Manage and process high-volume customer inquiries and applications received via phone, email, and walk-in during weekend shifts.
- Perform accurate data entry and record management to ensure compliance with state regulations and confidentiality protocols.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of weekly reports and statistical summaries to management.
- Monitor office operations to ensure security protocols and safety standards are maintained.
- Resolve complex constituent issues by collaborating with weekday supervisors and cross-departmental teams.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
- Update and maintain departmental databases and filing systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or government operations.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn internal government software quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data privacy laws.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
