Responsibilities
- Interact with customers face-to-face and over the phone to answer inquiries regarding license requirements and vehicle documentation.
- Process license renewals, duplicate cards, and vehicle registrations efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring proper reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment that complies with state safety regulations.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Verify identity documents and update customer records in the internal database.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or government services is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn proprietary software quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to pass a background check and a motor vehicle record check.
