Responsibilities
- Architect and lead AI research initiatives targeting 2026 technological milestones
- Develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models for autonomous decision-making
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ PhD researchers and engineers
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in top-tier AI conferences annually
- Collaborate with ethics board to ensure responsible AI deployment
- Present findings to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Quantum Computing with 8+ years industry experience
- Published record in NeurIPS/ICML/AAAI conferences (minimum 5 papers)
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms and hybrid neural networks
- Experience securing NSF/DARPA grants (minimum $5M total)
- Expertise in federated learning and differential privacy frameworks
- Strong Python/PyTorch proficiency with C++ optimization skills
- Leadership experience managing R&D teams of 10+ researchers
