Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps for 2026 and beyond
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies (quantum AI, neuro interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Architect scalable innovation frameworks integrating blockchain, IoT, and autonomous systems
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging tech methodologies
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budgets through compelling ROI projections
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven 2026+ horizon planning experience
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Track record of scaling innovation from concept to commercialization
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and predictive analytics platforms
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and executive domains
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
