Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate AI) to identify 2026-relevant opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies affecting global markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future-state capabilities
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' with predictive insights and risk assessments
- Advose C-suite on ethical implications of emerging technologies and governance frameworks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-forward solutions
- Represent company at global futurist forums and tech policy summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futurism, or technology innovation roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant STEM field
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technological disruption (whitepapers/articles)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Track record of influencing C-level strategy with future-focused recommendations
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society) preferred
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
