Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Author strategic whitepapers on quantum computing applications, AI ethics, and climate-tech convergence
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions targeting 2026 market readiness
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption impact on business objectives
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for emerging technology pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future forecasting
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AI/ML, blockchain, and biotech
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or Futurism
- Certification in Futures Studies or Horizon Scanning methodologies
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP-V, Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Fluency in predictive analytics tools (Tableau, Python, R)
