Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and sustainable AI systems
- Lead cross-continental innovation sprints with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich research partners
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human augmentation technologies
- Direct $50M+ R&D budgets across 3 innovation hubs in SF, Zurich, and Singapore
- Present strategic futures to C-suite executives and government technology councils
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in emerging fields like synthetic biology and cognitive computing
- Publish quarterly industry whitepapers on technology convergence and societal impact
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurism (or equivalent demonstrable expertise)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in future-scanning methodologies
- Published work in Nature Futures or IEEE Technology & Society Magazine
- Proficiency in quantum algorithm development and neural network optimization
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants and EU Horizon Europe funding
- Deep understanding of ISO 20700 technology foresight standards
- Portfolio of launched innovations impacting 1M+ users (e.g., AI ethics tools, sustainable tech platforms)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Q# preferred)
