Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and quantify emerging technologies and societal shifts (2024-2026)
- Develop predictive models for industry disruption and market evolution
- Architect strategic roadmaps for digital transformation and future-proofing
- Present executive briefings on future-state scenarios and risk/opportunity matrices
- Collaborate with R&D to validate future technologies and pilot concepts
- Quantify economic impact of megatrends on business operations and revenue streams
- Establish cross-functional futures councils to embed foresight into decision-making
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into organizational strategy
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership on future trends or disruption
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
