Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) and societal trends
- Develop and present scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future insights into product roadmaps
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on strategic foresight methodologies
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for stakeholders and investors
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFSD, WFS) preferred
