Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual technology foresight reports for 2026+ digital ecosystems
- Identify and analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech convergence, AI ethics)
- Design strategic roadmaps for R&D investments in future-focused domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term innovation priorities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into roadmaps
- Represent the company at global tech foresight conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight knowledge base
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Strong executive communication ability to translate complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry platforms
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
