Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends to forecast market shifts and opportunities specific to 2026 horizon
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D priorities with future market demands
- Present actionable insights to executive leadership and board of directors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal impact
- Maintain competitive intelligence database of emerging disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successful tech trend forecasting and commercialization
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech)
- Executive-level presentation skills with C-suite experience
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field required
- Published research or patents in innovation management
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and regulatory tech landscapes
