Job Description
At Apex Horizon, we are not merely predicting the future; we are engineering it. We are on a mission to define the technological landscape of 2026 and beyond. We are seeking a 2026 Visionary Systems Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of our next-generation, autonomous computing infrastructure.
This is a rare opportunity for a technical leader who wants to move beyond traditional architecture and build the foundational systems that will power the era of 2026. You will work at the intersection of AI, Quantum Readiness, and Cloud Scalability, solving problems that have never been solved before.
If you are passionate about the future of technology and possess the architectural foresight to guide a team through a paradigm shift, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 Roadmap: Design the core system architecture for products launching in 2026, ensuring scalability, security, and future-proofing against emerging tech trends.
- Quantum-Ready Infrastructure: Lead the transition to cloud-native and quantum-compatible architectures, optimizing performance for massive data throughput.
- Technical Strategy: Define technical standards and best practices across engineering teams to ensure alignment with our long-term 2026 vision.
- Innovation Leadership: Research and prototype bleeding-edge technologies (e.g., Neural Interfaces, Edge AI) to integrate into our core platform.
- Team Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, mentoring senior engineers and architects in advanced system design methodologies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Bridge the gap between technical vision and business objectives, translating complex architectural concepts for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Core Tech: Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Future Tech: Familiarity with AI/ML integration and the concept of quantum computing readiness in system design.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, with a strong understanding of system-level programming.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to architect complex solutions for ambiguous problems.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
