Responsibilities
- Design 2D Interfaces: Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for web and mobile applications using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Motion Graphics: Design and implement 2D animations, micro-interactions, and transitions to enhance user engagement and feedback.
- User-Centric Approach: Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineers to ensure design specifications are accurately translated into clean, efficient code.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our internal design system, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Accessibility: Ensure all designs comply with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer or Interaction Designer, with a specific focus on 2D interfaces.
- Tools: Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus; experience with 2D animation libraries (GSAP, Anime.js) is highly desirable.
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing 2D design work, motion graphics, and case studies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
