Responsibilities
- Manage departmental calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for departmental records
- Process incoming communications (phone, email, mail) and route to appropriate personnel
- Assist with data entry and report preparation using Microsoft Office Suite
- Support procurement processes by preparing purchase orders and tracking expenses
- Coordinate office logistics including supply inventory and equipment maintenance
- Provide frontline customer service to citizens and stakeholders
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of public sector procedures preferred
- Valid Kentucky driver's license may be required
- U.S. citizenship required for government positions
