Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and copying documents.
- Answer and direct phone calls and visitors to the appropriate department personnel.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas and minutes.
- Maintain and update departmental records and filing systems accurately.
- Support the department head with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous administrative or customer service experience is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on department needs.
