- Maintain digital and physical filing systems with strict confidentiality protocols
- Assist with budget tracking, expense reports, and procurement processes
- Provide frontline customer service to state agencies and the public
- Support data entry and record-keeping using state-mandated software systems
- Coordinate logistics for events, training sessions, and departmental initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 2+ years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Valid Illinois driver's license (if travel between state facilities required)
- U.S. citizenship or eligible to work in the United States
- Basic knowledge of Illinois state government procedures preferred
- Ability to pass standard background check and fingerprinting
