Responsibilities
- Process and maintain official documents, records, and databases in compliance with state regulations
- Provide frontline customer service via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Coordinate meeting logistics, scheduling, and minute preparation for departmental activities
- Assist with budget tracking, procurement requests, and inventory management
- Support recruitment processes including job postings, application screening, and onboarding
- Prepare routine reports, correspondence, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required)
- Associate's degree or 60+ college units preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid California driver's license (may be required for some duties)
- Pass background check and fingerprint clearance
