Responsibilities
- Manage departmental documentation, records retention, and filing systems
- Process procurement requests, invoices, and expense reports
- Coordinate public meetings, scheduling, and logistical arrangements
- Provide customer service to residents and internal stakeholders
- Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite
- Assist with grant application preparation and compliance tracking
- Support cross-functional projects with data collection and analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years administrative support experience in government/nonprofit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of public sector procurement processes preferred
- Valid California driver's license required
