Responsibilities
- Manage departmental records, databases, and filing systems with strict confidentiality protocols
- Process citizen requests, permits, and documentation within government compliance standards
- Coordinate public meetings, scheduling, and logistics for city officials
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and official communications using Microsoft Office Suite
- Assist budget tracking and procurement processes following municipal regulations
- Support cross-departmental projects with accurate data entry and documentation
- Maintain ADA compliance in all public-facing communications and services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government/public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and record management systems
- Knowledge of Minnesota public records laws and municipal procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain Notary Public certification
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear background check and drug screening required
