Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims and documentation with 99% accuracy
- Manage electronic records using VA systems (VBA, VISTA)
- Coordinate veteran outreach events across North Carolina
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families
- Assist with HR functions including onboarding and compliance
- Prepare reports and maintain confidential case files
- Collaborate with federal agencies on veteran initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- 1+ years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain VA security clearance
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with military/veteran populations
- Valid NC driver's license (for travel to events)
