Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Manage confidential veteran records and sensitive documentation
- Coordinate weekend scheduling for veteran outreach events
- Utilize federal systems (VA-VISN, VISTA) for data management
- Respond to veteran inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Prepare compliance reports for regional headquarters
- Collaborate with weekday teams for seamless service delivery
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Experience with veteran services preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Illinois driver's license (if required for outreach)
