Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for enterprise clients
- Conduct algorithmic audits and bias assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards in AI development lifecycle
- Create transparency documentation and explainability protocols for high-stakes AI systems
- Advocate for ethical AI standards through industry panels and regulatory submissions
- Mentor junior researchers on responsible AI methodologies and best practices
- Lead crisis response protocols for AI ethics incidents and compliance breaches
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
- Proven track record of implementing bias mitigation and fairness metrics in production AI systems
- Strong background in machine learning model auditing and explainability techniques (SHAP, LIME)
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration between engineering, legal, and ethics teams
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible technology at top-tier venues
- Deep understanding of socio-technical implications of AI deployment in regulated industries
