Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for AI-powered systems
- Develop ethical guidelines for autonomous decision-making algorithms
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate ethical safeguards into AI pipelines
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions to align AI practices with societal values
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and advise on compliance strategies
- Train cross-functional teams on ethical AI principles and implementation
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, governance, or responsible AI development
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Strong background in algorithmic bias mitigation and fairness metrics
- Proven experience developing organizational ethics policies
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of machine learning lifecycle and deployment challenges
