Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise IT systems including servers, networks, and cybersecurity protocols
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VA healthcare applications
- Implement and monitor data security measures to protect sensitive veteran health information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure upgrades and modernization projects
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports in compliance with federal standards
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure all systems comply with HIPAA, FISMA, and VA security regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of professional IT infrastructure experience
- Federal IT Fundamentals Certification (CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+)
- Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and threat mitigation strategies
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
