Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI governance frameworks compliant with emerging 2026 regulatory standards
- Conduct bias audits and ethical impact assessments for machine learning models
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycle
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Monitor global AI regulatory evolution and advise on policy adaptation strategies
- Design transparency mechanisms for autonomous decision-making systems
- Author white papers on AI ethics best practices for industry forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech implementation
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, US Algorithmic Accountability Act, and ISO 42001
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM Fairness 360)
- Experience with NIST AI Risk Management Framework 2.0
- Strong background in regulatory affairs with tech companies
- Published work on AI ethics or policy (academic or industry)
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
