Your Mission
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for state employees experiencing technical difficulties, ensuring business continuity and user satisfaction from your remote office.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools for state employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Assist with software installation, updates, and configuration of operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within the state network.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new technology solutions and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote environment.
