Responsibilities

- Partner with legal teams to establish compliance protocols for emerging AI regulations
- Design bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics for high-stakes decision systems
- Coordinate international research initiatives on AI alignment and value learning
- Present ethical risk assessments to C-suite executives and regulatory bodies
- Train technical teams on responsible AI development practices and ethical coding standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years in AI governance
- Proven expertise in developing algorithmic fairness metrics and bias mitigation techniques
- Deep understanding of post-quantum cryptography implications for AI security
- Experience collaborating with regulatory bodies on AI policy development
- Published research on value alignment or existential risk mitigation in AI systems
- Strong background in implementing ethics-by-design principles in production ML systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
