Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI governance frameworks compliant with 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for bias, transparency, and accountability
- Develop ethical AI training programs for engineering and product teams
- Represent the company in global AI ethics forums and policy discussions
- Create impact assessments for high-stakes AI applications across healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems
- Partner with legal teams to establish incident response protocols for AI failures
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Published work on algorithmic bias mitigation or explainable AI techniques
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging global regulations
- Experience leading ethics initiatives at Fortune 500 companies or major tech firms
- Expertise in quantitative bias auditing tools (Aequitas, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical ethics to diverse stakeholders
