Responsibilities
- Manage, preserve, and provide public access to all official city records including ordinances, minutes, and historical documents
- Coordinate and administer municipal elections, including voter registration and ballot preparation
- Oversee City Council proceedings, including meeting scheduling, minute-taking, and ordinance processing
- Administer oaths of office and maintain official city seal and records
- Ensure compliance with state Sunshine Act and open records regulations
- Manage records retention and digitization programs
- Facilitate public records requests while maintaining confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in municipal records management or public administration
- Expert knowledge of Pennsylvania Sunshine Act and open records laws
- Proven proficiency with records management systems and digital archiving tools
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience managing public meetings and election processes
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
