- Administer oaths of office and notarization services for official documents
- Coordinate public records requests and ensure timely, accurate responses
- Maintain the city's official seal and document authentication protocols
- Support elections processes and voter registration initiatives
- Develop records retention policies aligned with state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years municipal government or records management experience
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of Georgia Open Records Act and Sunshine Laws
- Advanced proficiency in records management software (e.g., Laserfiche)
