Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes
- Oversee City Council proceedings including agenda preparation and certification
- Administer oaths of office and public record requests
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration initiatives
- Ensure compliance with open records laws and regulatory standards
- Serve as custodian of the city seal and official documents
- Facilitate interdepartmental record-keeping systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal government or records management experience
- Expertise in Pennsylvania Sunshine Act and public records regulations
- Advanced proficiency in municipal software and document management systems
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
