Responsibilities
- Safeguard and maintain all official city records, ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration services
- Oversee public records requests and ensure compliance with Arizona public records laws
- Manage city council agendas, documentation, and certification processes
- Coordinate city charter amendments and official publications
- Lead records management systems and digital preservation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of municipal government or records management experience
- Arizona Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in Arizona open meeting laws (A.R.S. Title 38) and election procedures
- Advanced proficiency in records management systems and digital archiving
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Valid Arizona driver's license
