Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence in a timely manner.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records for city departments using database systems.
- Greet visitors and answer incoming phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Assist in the preparation of official documents, meeting minutes, and administrative reports.
- File and organize physical and digital documents according to established protocols.
- Process applications and forms for permits, licenses, or services as requested by the public.
- Operate office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
