Responsibilities
- Manage official municipal records including permits, licenses, and council documents with meticulous accuracy
- Provide exceptional constituent services through in-person, phone, and digital channels
- Coordinate public meetings and hearings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking
- Maintain digital databases ensuring compliance with municipal record-keeping standards
- Process administrative paperwork and financial transactions with precision
- Collaborate with city departments on cross-functional projects and policy initiatives
- Support election processes and voter registration activities
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years administrative or government experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated record-keeping abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of North Carolina municipal regulations
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
