Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records, documents, and digital archives with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate and prepare agendas, minutes, and supporting materials for municipal meetings and public hearings
- Process and track permits, licenses, and municipal applications ensuring compliance with city ordinances
- Respond to public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding city services and procedures
- Assist in budget preparation and financial record-keeping for departmental operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement administrative policies and procedures
- Utilize municipal software systems for data entry, reporting, and record management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in public administration or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or clerical experience in government or public sector
