Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with meticulous accuracy
- Coordinate public meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation
- Process public records requests while ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania Sunshine Act
- Provide administrative support to City Council and departmental officials
- Oversee voter registration and election documentation processes
- Implement and maintain digital record-keeping systems for archival efficiency
- Serve as primary liaison between citizens and municipal government processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma with 3+ years administrative/clerical experience (bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and record management software
- Deep knowledge of Pennsylvania public records regulations and procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written/verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with municipal government operations highly desirable
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required
