Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate municipal records, documents, and files in accordance with city policies.
- Assist the public and city officials by answering inquiries, routing calls, and providing general information.
- Perform data entry and update databases with high attention to detail and speed.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting materials as requested by supervisors.
- Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for visitors.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing forms.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous clerical or customer service experience is a plus, but not mandatory (paid training provided).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
