Responsibilities
- Maintain and update official municipal records with meticulous attention to detail and compliance with state regulations
- Process and track public records requests while ensuring timely responses and data privacy protection
- Provide exceptional constituent support via phone, email, and in-person interactions regarding city services
- Assist in preparing agendas, minutes, and official documentation for city council meetings
- Manage digital document management systems and implement process improvements for administrative workflows
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to ensure consistent record-keeping practices
- Support election administration processes and voter registration activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or clerical experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and document management systems
- Strong knowledge of Colorado public records laws and municipal procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently in remote setting while maintaining accountability
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site requirements
