Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility rules during night shifts
- Conduct regular security rounds and perimeter checks
- Respond to emergencies and incidents using de-escalation techniques
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
- Screen visitors and packages for contraband
- Transport inmates within the facility as required
- Collaborate with day-shift officers for seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Michigan driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
