Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility security protocols during weekend shifts
- Conduct regular security inspections and incident reports
- Manage inmate movement and maintain order within correctional units
- Respond to emergencies and de-escalate conflicts professionally
- Document all incidents and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and healthcare teams as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and physical fitness assessment
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in law enforcement, security, or corrections (preferred)
