Responsibilities
- Maintain security and order within correctional facilities during weekend operations
- Conduct regular inmate counts and perimeter surveillance
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility regulations
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Prepare detailed incident and activity reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement and healthcare staff as needed
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and polygraph examination
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Physical fitness requirements including lifting 50+ pounds
- Basic computer literacy and report writing skills
