Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility security protocols during weekend shifts
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and surveillance using CCTV systems
- Perform intake/release procedures for weekend admissions and discharges
- Respond to emergency situations with de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation for weekend operations
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during weekend transport operations
- Conduct routine cell searches and contraband detection procedures
- Supervised recreation and meal services for weekend inmate population
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean record
- Successfully pass background check and polygraph examination
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays without exception
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Previous security or corrections experience strongly preferred
