Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise inmates to ensure safety and security within the facility
- Conduct regular inspections of living quarters and common areas
- Enforce facility rules and regulations, responding to incidents as necessary
- Document all activities and incidents accurately and promptly
- Assist in the transportation of inmates as required
- Provide emergency response and first aid when needed
- Maintain order during meals, recreational activities, and other movements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, and restraining inmates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
