Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility rules to ensure safety
- Conduct regular security checks and headcounts
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per protocol
- Document incidents and maintain accurate reports
- Screen visitors and packages according to policy
- Transport inmates as required
- Provide basic first aid and crisis intervention
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
