Responsibilities
- Patrol state Capitol grounds and buildings during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts in real-time
- Conduct access control for personnel and vehicles at secure entry points
- Document incident reports and security breaches with precision
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Maintain communication protocols with day-shift security teams
- Participate in mandatory security training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
