Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date court records and filing systems for various court divisions.
- Assist the public and legal professionals by answering inquiries, processing document requests, and providing information on court procedures.
- Prepare, process, and issue legal documents, subpoenas, and court orders with strict attention to detail.
- Perform high-volume data entry and ensure the accuracy of electronic case management systems.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and the general public.
- Monitor court docket schedules and assist in the coordination of court proceedings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or Criminal Justice is preferred.
- Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or legal support role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with court management software (e.g., Case Management, eFiling systems).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
