Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate court records, case files, and legal documentation
- Process and file court orders, judgments, and administrative paperwork
- Assist the public and legal professionals with court procedures and information
- Schedule and coordinate court appearances, hearings, and trials
- Collect and process fines, fees, and other court-related payments
- Operate court-specific software and maintain digital record systems
- Ensure compliance with state and federal judicial protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal database software
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced judicial environment
- Knowledge of Texas court procedures is highly desirable
