Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD networks
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Develop and maintain robust security documentation and policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
- Provide 24/7 security monitoring for classified and unclassified systems
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network security or cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+ CE, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and security tools
- Experience with DoD RMF and ATO processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and on-call duties
