Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage VA IT infrastructure across 5+ military healthcare facilities within 60 days
- Implement cybersecurity protocols compliant with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP)
- Coordinate with DOD contractors for seamless system integration
- Lead incident response for critical veteran health data systems
- Maintain 99.9% uptime for telehealth platforms serving 50,000+ veterans
- Train staff on new federal IT security protocols
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required for immediate start)
- 5+ years federal IT infrastructure management experience
- CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications
- Expertise in FedRAMP High compliance frameworks
- Experience with VA-specific systems (VistA, AHLTA)
- Ability to pass federal background check within 72 hours
- US citizenship and DD-214 for veterans preference
